Mean Bark

I go out to bike nights and weekend rides in the back country (Julian, Palomar Mountain, Borrego Springs, etc.) in San Diego. It is surprising to me how many people think the Superhawk accelerates faster (0-60, 1/4 mi.) then there bike just by the sound of the engine when I start her up. The Two Bro's exhaust is so intimidating. I've had guys with relatively new 600's think I'd smoke them since the Superhawk is a 1000 and sounds aggressive. Have you guys experienced this?

Superhawks are faster than most bikes out there.. They even stand up to Hayaboobi's , zx12's and Mv's.. Ive even seen a guy give a top fuel drag bike a run for its money..

Remeber this paragraph..... be serious as hell when you tell it too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, I have heard that before from a couple guys. My buddy Cliff has an R6 and said when im sitting next to him when stopped at red lights and **** that the sound of my bike makes him feel that his bike is weak. The bark is pretty good...the bite is there, but nowhere near what a lot of people think.....but let them think it!

hahaha

I love it when I go on rides with other people. we'll get gas, and when they start their engines back up they'll rev, and then I'll do it, and everyone turns around and looks

LOL

Best part is the Chicks dig it too. The sound of a heavy vibration makes them get wet in the seat...

I've rolled up to work on my black CBR1000RR, and the next day ride the blue Superhawk. People ask me, "which one's faster, the blue one"?

It sure sounds faster!

I had one of the guys I rode in Dayton OH with tell me it sounded like a huey coming in for a landing when I'd blip and downshift coming up to red lights. There's a reason I'm looking for stock cans...

Wife and I did a co-ed ride with her all-girls sport bike group last month, and the girls were all digging the SH sound! One of the girls said she kept riding behind me just so she could listen to it as I went through the gears...my ego just couldn't stand it...

(of course, the TBR cans help, too...)

The bike nights are listed here:

Thursday night (Mira Mesa Bike NIght) is really good. I'll probably be there this Thursday.

Join the San Diego Sportbike Meetup (http://sportbikes.meetup.com/300/). They have awesome rides that range from 100 miles to 240 miles.

I love the way my hawk sounds. I usually leave to work pretty early between 3am and 5 so its usually pretty dark. I disabled my pair for 3 days before i un did it. theirs just something about shooting blue flames on the decel at unsuspecting cagers...

The vibration combined with the hard passenger's seat does a good job too.
