Maybe not worth it
So after our pseudo blizzard, the temps have been in the teens & single digits. I finally got to ride to work today. 12* and some really muckety roads.
Surprised how grippy the salty road is, and morning was sunny, so kinda an adventure.
Nightime, however sucked. Many places where snow was dragged or shoveled onto the street.
With all the gear, needing starting fluid to guarentee starting, and all the snow & ice falling off trucks, its gettind grueling. I am really wishing for the weather to break.
Oh and don't get me started about the tire blowout going over the Williamsburg bridge.

Geez, and I whinge about the weather here in Oz!
I have the opposite problem having just been through a heat wave of 48C
So hot that the tar was melting and it was like riding in a blast furnace.
Bike all covered in tar and tyres all torn up!
I won't complain any more.

Ah, just another adventure! Now I know why Smokin' rides in this stuff.
There is no way I could ride on these roads around here without knobby tires. Not to mention the bloody cold (-22F this coming Monday).
