Enjoyed my Superhawk for several years.

Going to look at a '02 RVT. 18k miles for $3500. New chain, sprockets and tires. Says it's clean. Yosimura cans.

Anything I should look for on these bikes?

 

sounds like a good price, but be careful cuz if it sounds too good to be true then it usually is...

 

Nice bike. Good price. 520 conversion, bubble screen, passenger seat. The guy is an enthusiast with several motos in his stable.

But, it has been painted. It used to be red, which is visible at some points. Which brings us back to it's competative price.

Does this bother me? Honestly yes. I know I'm being picky, but it still would bother me. Is it worth approx $2k more to get a cherry bike? Probably not.
