The Lazarus threads....
How does this group feel about reviving OLD threads? I know that there are some forums that consider this to be a faux-pas.
I am reading more and more everyday and feel like I could have some input. PLUS, there are several threads that just fell dead. I want closure!

I can't tell you how the rest of the forum feels, but I can tell you what matters, and that's how I feel about it.
Dredge up all the old threads you want. Especially if you have good info to add or have a question that isn't adequately answered as the thread stands. Why else does the forum exist? However, if you're looking for more info from a member who hasn't visited for 8 years for a bike they were selling 9 years ago, then I'll probably be the first to make a smart *** comment. On the other hand, sometimes they reply with the deal of the century, so just ignore me if you weren't already. Why else does this forum exist?

VTR1000's suggestion makes sense. I read these forums for information as much as anything else. I don't care when it was posted. Problems and their solutions don't generally become 'stale'. That's my two centavos.
