The Lazarus threads....

How does this group feel about reviving OLD threads? I know that there are some forums that consider this to be a faux-pas.
I am reading more and more everyday and feel like I could have some input. PLUS, there are several threads that just fell dead. I want closure!

I can't tell you how the rest of the forum feels, but I can tell you what matters, and that's how I feel about it.

Dredge up all the old threads you want. Especially if you have good info to add or have a question that isn't adequately answered as the thread stands. Why else does the forum exist? However, if you're looking for more info from a member who hasn't visited for 8 years for a bike they were selling 9 years ago, then I'll probably be the first to make a smart ass comment. On the other hand, sometimes they reply with the deal of the century, so just ignore me if you weren't already. Why else does this forum exist?

VTR1000's suggestion makes sense. I read these forums for information as much as anything else. I don't care when it was posted. Problems and their solutions don't generally become 'stale'. That's my two centavos.

Dig up all you want, it's encouraged! Better to do that than start a fresh one on the same subject, UNLESS it tires and oil, cuz those things progress with time. :)
