As of today, the hawk is officially legal to ride on the byways and highways of the USA. For the past year and a half it's been my track bike, and I saw no reason to register it becuase I have several other bikes to ride. Last month I sold off my other sport bike. I got the hawk set up for street riding, got it inspected, and transferred the tag over. Now I don't have to keep looking over my shoulder for "the man" while I ride. Well....except for my excessive speeds.
