Hi what service are you using. I was just sent a complete wheel overnight service using DHL express for less than $50. I am sure the tow items I purchase from you weight less and is smaller then the wheel. Would you check with the shipper to see whether there is a more economic way to ship these items?...I can also check on my end if you would provide me with your shipping origin and size and weight of the package.

Thanks
Lou

So since I already sent him:

Subtotal: US $6.50
Shipping and handling: US $29.98
Shipping insurance (not offered): --
Seller discounts or charges:
--
Total: US $36.48

It would have been more than enough to cover it. Afterall- a headlight and a clip on is not that heavy. So I waited and waited. I emailed him 3 times and no answer. So I disputed with Paypal and Ebay but unfortunately it was past 60 days. He planned this all along and as you see the noticeable delays in the response from the get go with the invoice. This is no doubt cause I won it @ $1 and $5.50. Bastard now leaves negative feedback.

Its only $36.48 but I am pissed. he post several places if you google the email he uses. I am going to response to every post he makes and every time he has an item on ebay, I think I am going to bid just to get even...

Amen, brother! Buy new or buy from brothers! You got more than one bike and I think before I went to ebay to rush through repairs, I would continue the search for parts on other places and ride the other one in the mean time. People get pissed when you know more about shipping than they do.

The thing was he even said "$29" for shipping and even at that, I think it's BS...I am going to make him/her earn my $36.48.

Hate to see you got shafted, PayPal wouldn't stand up for you on this, that sucks.

On a side note i sold some SuperMoto frame sliders to a guy in Canada (weight 2 lbs) and the shipping was like $15.00 at UPS and almost twice that at USPS. Frigging paperwork to ship out of the country was a bitch too. No disrespect to our Neighbors Canada or Mexico, but i know i won't be selling anything else out side of the US. The paperwork and crap you got to sign is crazy and time consuming. I now see why people don't want to sell stuff out of country.

Hope you get a resolution.

I understand your reluctance but it all boils down with UPS.

I ask that the shipper NEVER ship with UPS..they are a bunch of crooks with their brokerage fees and paperwork. I have always use canadapost and they have been very competitive and I have never had any problems with shipping down to the US be it paperwork or custom problems from the buyer.

People who have sold stuff to me and shipped via USPS have been great as well. The fastest I received an item (R1 front wheel) was via DHL and it was over night all for $50. I initially thought it was expensive but when it arrived the next day and with excellent packaging, I thought it was a bargain.

As for resolution, he/she has not shipped and will not refund my money..I am not sure where the resolution lies but if I am ever down in St. louis, I might find it at the end of a baseball bat. Not that I condone violence but I know it would make me feel better.

Yeah, I always get a kick out of the fee on the package versus what these crackheads want to charge for borrowing Mommie's car to go to the Post.

Calipers shipped from within thirty miles of your home, Lou, quoted to me at $50 shipping - after nearly five weeks they show up beat to **** wearing an $18.60 sticker from the Canada Post Office.

UPS and others use dimensional weight these days. i think USPS has a dim weight if the box is over a specific size.

i ship things daily at work & i can tell you shipping rates have really gone up.

No it wasn't you, *******! It was a guy close to you - I even Googled his ******* town in case I needed you to make a "house call" for me. This border thing has always been a bitch but you have been the best at dealing with it and I'm not the only guy here that would attest to that. You get my point. Don't charge me fifty and put eighteen-sixty on the ******* box!

Bigger picture is that I think Ebay brings out the worst in people. Come sell your junk, make millions, sell your neighbor's junk become a power-seller, make more millions -

and when it comes down to parts I am going to trust my life with ???

I feel like one of my dogs, I got foot in ear - big vet bills but don't have foot in mouth.

Friends and colleagues here do internet business and they do a good job of both. Me flaming about Ebay has nothing to do with their honorable enterprises.

Come on now Doug, ebay helped get your VTR back on the road. You even got a partial refund, and you didn't spend as much as you would have at the dealer, AND you didn't have to wait as long.
