"Damn strong" - YES

I would like to see the torque curves as the RC appears to be having problems getting to speed early on. All in all the hawk is impressive and just goes to show ya, it isn't so much what you ride but how you ride it.

saw the z07 on top gear. pretty much just a track car.

One thing not mentioned so far is that the RC is horrendously over geared for the street in stock trim. Even with a -1 front on my 05, I still occasionally stall it on a start.

I haven't checked numbers but I'd guess that an RC with -1 +2 gearing (very popular mod) would only equal stock SuperHawk gearing.

Ok BlackHawk, I think I figured it out. You must be talking about the guy runnin' the dyno. He had the red shirt and the bleached hair in the pic. He did mention he lives near columbus ohio, that's all I know. The RC owner/driver is Don, and I know he's not near you.

I do agree, the RC is no drag bike. The best statement so far: it's not so much what bike you drive but how you drive it. For me it was like the david vs. goliath. I was not expecting to win at all.

I think that was a 72 Pinto with a blown 302 Cleveland.

Hammer7205: It's funny you mention the truck thing. D (the RC owner) is into the whole Ford diesel scene and has a lifted F?50.
No kidding - all my service trucks for my business are F 350's, all diesel. It also just so happens that I'm a BullyDog dealer. Makes it easier to buy the goodies when you get 'em @ cost....
