11,000 here just did my 1st oil an filter change, tomarrow is a new KanN air filter and new plug. just for kicks, it sat for 18 mo. before I bought her so I figured everything should be changed out. pretty sure it wasnt changed too many times before I got her, gotta get her in shape before the weather breaks.

Almost 44k now on da Red 02
Best Mod evuh was Ohlins rear / RaceTech springs / valves up front
Second best was Givi Top Case > I get my ***** busted for have a "pizza delivery box" on it but function over form, plus lets me do road trips easier.
After that Heated Grips, Erion pipes - crashed w/ them in 03 & they still are fine & sound great!

56,900 miles.
I bought my '98 VTR new in 1999. It has a Yoshimura full system exhaust, Yoshimura stage 1 cams and a Dyno-jet kit. Still as much fun to ride as it ever was!
I just finished adjusting the valve clearances and replacing the CCT lifters with new ones (instead of installing APE's, don't want to be bothered with having to manually tension the cam chains).
More of a preventive measure as the original CCT lifters never gave me any problems. Runs great! But it isn't the easiest bike to work on.
I should have installed adjustable cam sprockets while I was at it for setting the timing more precisely. Next time.

assuming here, logging 14k a year is about average. But that doesn't matter though. Its all about the smiles per miles you get out of the ride.
