Mine is about to click 53,000 miles. Just wish I had put most of them there. Only about 15,000 are mine.

Unlike oil posts, these threads are a gas! If you pull a search you will find riders here in the six figure MILEAGE - just to be clear. These machines - while they have all their other dinky little problems are a gigantic workhorse. Suspension, brakes, weight issues, ergos - all dinky and workable around such a huge powerplant. Was it nearly 300,000 miles?

Occassionally we can coax him off his motorcycle to check in with us. He has since sold his Superhawk but still lurks around here. Jeffers - you out there and care to comment? You always set the bar. How many miles does it have on it now with the new owner? Regards

Would you believe 550 on an '03? A guy bought it, loaned it to his brother (where have I heard this before) who promptly stacked it up. The service manager at our local Honda dealer bought it from the insurance company for a song, then lost interest in the project. I paid him what he into it, and am fixing the damage, which is mostly cosmetic. Can't wait to get it put back together.

In the month or so I've had mine I had logged over 2600 miles on my own

When I sold my 98 CBR it had 36k hard miles on the clock and still ran strong like it always had.

About 19k. Got it at 6k back in 2000. Still waiting to get the R/R or stator fixed so it's been parked all year.

I just hit 20,000 miles today, bought my '05 new in August '05.

I rode my previous 3 bikes a total of 150,000 miles in 24 years. Many more to come on the SH.

the miles are definitely not wasted but their accountability may be questionable. I bought mine at 12480 miles and I'm thinking, "Yeah, I should do the CCT's soon but it's only 12.5. Within weeks we are a 16.8 and I am having nightmares about an engine break. There is a member here that has over a hundred thousand on his Superhawk. This is a powerful beast - one with long lungs and powerful legs. Treat it right and it will live up to every longevity claim that Honda can make about reliability and long life. Enjoy!

Bought my 98 at the end of Feb this year with just over 27k on it and it's now over 34k. Starting to sound like its ready for a valve adjustment.

32k, and it should climb quickly now that I'm back commuting on it (and it's 100+ miles round-trip!)
