Question Holding the Choke out?

I have a new '05 SuperHawk. The choke position does not stay where I want it to. I slides too easily to the closed or off position. Any one have an idea how to fix this other than a pair of vice grips?

Thanks,
Brad

try searching the forums, I recall seeing posts like this and the solution was to adjust some part of the choke cable.

There's a rubber boot just behind the ****. Pull it off and there's a tension-adjusting nut.

I also have an '05 with the exact same problem. Thank you 2005hawk2006 for the thread, and thanks to Mister Mohawk for the answer. I love this forum!
