Highway travel

With stock gearing and everytbhing, what RPMs are you running on highways at [of course] just over the speed limit? And what type of tires are you using? Sport or sport touring? And air pressure? What about MPGs? I think I'm running rich.

approx 4500rpm

Bridgestone dual compound Sport Touring

36 - 42

80 - 120 miles per tank depending on ratio of urban to dual carriageway / motorway use.

+1 on what wicky said except I run the Dunlop dual compound.
I like the boldness of the font, everything seems so much more important and serious....

My VTR likes the Stones (16f/23r) at 36psi/40psi. So hypersport front paired to a sport-touring rear (for mileage).

Mine gets around 5.5l/100 at 130-140kmh, and 6,7l/100 at 180kmh. For those living across the pond, that's 42MPG at 80-88miles and 35MPG at 113 miles.

Tires are Pirelli 2CT at 2.2 bar/32PSI, and bike has what's listed in my signature.
