Hi all, new member from Virginia

Hi all. I am Tom Boisvert in Lake Monticello, Virginia. (Just outside of Charlottesville) I am new to your site after buying a 98 yesterday with only 9k miles. Perfect unbelievable shape. I currently also own and drive a 99 BMW LT, a 97 cbr 1100xx (Blackbird), a 02 Yamaha roadstar warrior w/PR 110 cu in engine, and a 83 yamaha venture (which I could really sell).

My bike is in Honda red with the lower fairings installed. It is awesome.

Look forward to learning about this great bike from the forum members. I am also a member of a warrior site, and a cbrxx site.

Again, Hi and thanks for welcoming me to the site!!!!

Tom (Tombo)

Welcome, the new Superhawk should fit right in with the rest of your bikes. Like each of them it will have it's own unique fun. Have a great and safe fall riding season!

Welcome to the board! I'm also from Virginia. Grew up in Alexandria and went to school at JMU. I always wanted a Blackbird, how different does it feel from the VTR? Night and day?

yes, good call. The blackbird is a rocketship!!! I think the handling might be a bit better on the superhawk but I'm still new to it. The feel just while sitting on them is totally different. Blackbird is much wider especially with the fairings pushed wider a couple of inches on each side. They also make power differently so it feels smoother on the blackbird, more torquey on the SH. All in all, both great bikes. Got the bird set up with corbin bags for more touring type so I'll use the sh for fun!!

Welcome to the Forum Tombo. Nice stable you've got there, ditto on the VTR fitting in. Tho the other bikes might get neglected once you see how fun the VTR is. Mines also RED, tho some on this might disagree that's the fastest color! Let's see some pictures!

The most rare color is Titanium, which I like to call Stealth Gray.

Welcome.

We were out your way Saturday. We had a nice mix of bikes. CBR1000RR, ZX10R-SE, MV Agusta Brutale, ZX636 streetfighter, GSX-R750, Aprilia Mille and the Super Hawk.

Stopped in Palmyra at that little store at 15 & 53. Nice place to hang out on the porch and cool off.
