Exclamation Help with wiring of an 01 motor into a 98 VTR bike

Hey guys, I recently purchased a used motor for my 1998 VTR superhwak. The motor is a 2001 though, and now i am getting the ignition fuse blowing with 5 seconds of turning the key into the on position. My neutral light is still not coming on. My dad and I have checked over every piece of wiring there is for any shorts? Am i totally going crazy? I needed to know if anyone has a 2001 wiring schematic or knows what changed (actually IN) the motor from 98 to 01. Thanks guys... all help is much appreciated.

In the motor? Nothing.

Full service manual (including both schematics) available here: https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=11365

RCVTR is an unknown quantity at this point
The kickstand switch, clutch switch and neutral switch combine to prevent or supply power to the ignition. Look for a short in one of the wires in that circuit.
