Hello
Hello
I'm Brian and I'm new to the forum but not new to riding. I've been riding since I was a kid. I've had my Superhawk since 2000. It's a 1998 that I bought new from a dealer. So far, most of my mods have been cosmetic except for disabling the PCV, (purge control valve), removing the "hibachi" canister and adding some Yoshimura SS Race slip-ons. I cut 6 inches off the cans so they're a bit louder than regular ones. You can hear a clip here. I've trimmed the rear end down quite a bit make it a bit more appealing by adding an undertail unit from Free Street Designs.
My next assault will be the following:
remove the PAIR valves and install TBR block off plates
add a BMC street air filter
install a Factory +4 deg. ignition advancer
install Factory Ti Pro Carb Kit with the following base line settings
-#50 slow jet
-182 Front Main
-185 Rear Main
-Clips set 4th from the top
-screws 3 turns out
-throttle position sensor set between 480-490 Ohms
I'm glad to be here and hope I can contribute to the forum.
Brian

Welcome!
The only thing you might consider is a set of manual CCTs. (search for "cct failure" if you want to know why)
Truckinduc sells them here on the forum.

Or you can order APEs from other sources.
