if I recall, it looks a lot like stock. what will matter are the distances and lengths of those arms. I have mine apart and when I get hom I'll measure the trianglular plate distances and the lower arm length also and post. you can compare.

I can tell you from just those pics and the markings that it is definetly stock... I have seen those parts so many times when doing my little maths quiz...

That is good news! I much prefer to start with a 100% stock bike and work from there.

Thanks for the info.

as noted and here is my stock part. guess that is good news (not lowered) and bad news (not the reason its handling so poorly). but sounds like there are lots of other possibilities for that.

As mentioned, linkages look stock. The other way to loswer the bike is with a spacer on the shock shaft, so this is a possibility as well.

how about the front fork tubes? are the top of them about level with the top of the handle bars? did you check the tire pressures? just being off 5 or so psi can make a difference.

Handling-wise I am going to put new skins on it this spring and take it from there. I usually have bikes less than a year so probably won't get to far into mods unless they are inexpensive. I have triathlon bikes that cost twice as much as I paid for this Super Hawk so I should just enjoy it and not spend too much $$$ on it. Maybe the 'Hawk will be my true love though. Cheap to own and run (except gas) and there is a guy here in Canada selling one with 135,000 kms on it. That is impressive.
