Has anyone removed the fugly evap canister?

Has anyone removed the fugly evap canister?
If so, have you noticed a good or bad performance? I can't find any instructions on how to remove and re-hose.

I'm adding a Sharkskinz lower and the evap canistar looks looks like it might get in the way mounting the lower.

I think hawkrider has instructions on his site for removal, if not did you try the search function?

Probably not what you wanted to hear.
