I just wanted to say thanks for everything.
I bought my shawk in 2003 and have enjoyed the forum and its multiple evolutions sense then. (And also your site). I remember back when it was a group e-mail.
Thanks for doing us all a great service, by making all of the information available, and giving us a community for a forgotten and overlooked bike.
Thanks for keeping the passion alive for a motorcycle we all love. Kudos!
Wishing you many more happy and carefree miles, for you and your shawk.

absolutely...
thank you again...
I've been coming to this site for so long now...
Its hard to believe i even remember, but way back when i first bought my superhawk, i was coming here spending hours on hours searching for info on them.
You know its funny how time fly's... I mean to think back on all the memories I have of this site, and then trying to put a date on just how long its been since i picked up my very first SuperHawk... I mean WAY back to Dec 28th, 2007... WOW, 07 huh... those where the day's...
RAMBLE IS OVER....
Just wanted to chime in... even as a newbie... I spend countless hours on many forums, and have for a few years now... This forum is set up very nicely, and the people are very friendly... So far every bit of info i have wanted has been available here, which has made it easy to not search for other sources of info on the superhawk...
thanks again...

+1
Greg, you're not just a source of sound mechanical information and a great moderator. You've been a leader for fans of the VTR1000F since the runlevelzero days. I'm glad divingindaytona started this thread. My expression of gratitude is long overdue.

Too funny! I was just thinking about starting a thread exactly like this as I was rejetting the SH this afternoon - laptop and carbs on the bench, pecking on the keys with dirty fingers searching through Greg's posts for a good sea level tune. I love this site!
Thanks, Greg!
Thanks, Greg!
Bwahahahahaha.... You guys kill me! Thanks for da props, yo! I send it all back your way. I don't have to do anything with the forum. You guys do it by yourselves. That's what makes the job easy.
Oh, and damn I feel old!!!
Sorry I haven't been on the forum much lately. I find that the less I think about riding, the less I think about not being able to ride, and thusly (that a word?) I don't get depressed about it. I'm finding other crap to take up my time. Doing a set of RC51 forks for a guy. Installing a stereo in the winter beater. Internet ****. etc, etc, etc....
I really need to get busy on the XS750 Cafe project. I wish I had my own sandblaster. J/K about the ****, guys, REALLY!
So check this out. So I just turned 39y/o, right? I'm a grandfather (STEP-grandfather, actually), and here I am installing two 12" subs in the Altima Beater car. Alpine head unit, Alpine coaxials, JL Audio amps, etc.... I think I'm hitting my midlife crisis, ya know? How many grandpas do you find rollin with two 12's and listening to techno and beat music?? I think I may need therapy, or maybe I just need to move somewhere warmer?
