I am in process of getting a 04 vtr-1000 Hopefully the loan check will get to me in a couple days, then...its mine

I sold my F2 to fund this upgrade. So, I am looking forward to get it and see what I need to do in the suspension department.

So, I am sure I will be tapping this site for info.

Welcome to the VTR world. I made the same upgrade in 98 when the VTR first came out. I sold my red and white 91 F2 and picked up the hawk!

Lazn: No not my sporty

here are pics of my ride, just picked it up today

Its got Leovince cans on it (sounds great) and new Pilot Powers. a LED tail/turn signal (aftermarket) on it. I put a headlight modulator on tonight.
The dealer said that the guy who owned it before me was about my size, so Im hoping that the suspension is good to go with maybe a click or 2 of adjustments (ie: the spring rates are correct for a heavy person)
I will find out tomorrow when I go back to the dealer and pick up all the stock stuff that the guy had taken off and kept with the bike.
