Goodbye to my Hawk

I traded my Hawk last weekend, Im still not sure how I feel about it gone but I am getting used to the new ride that replaced it. Street riding was getting too dangerous, I wanted to go faster but never get to the track, idiots in cages seem to be springing up everywhere, and I really missed the dirt. So I found a 2006 DRZ400S for trade on craigslist, sent the guy a message and that night we swapped. I have taken it out for a few off road rides, reminded myself the hard way that it is much easier to crash on dirt than asphalt, and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thanks to everyone that ever helped me diagnose issues and gave advice on fixing things, especially 7moore7 for helping me in real time via thread when I was fixing my timing after a failed cct and another time when my side stand switch fried at the gas station. I will still be throwing in my input on threads once in a while, everyone ride safe and keep the rubber side down

I have had a few dual sport/supermotard bikes.. DRZ was one of them.

It was a decent bike, you will need some real knobbies to take it off-road.

Stock exhaust is really heavy, jet kit and a slip-on muffler really can wake up the beast on that engine.
