GiproX gear indicator color?

Hey all,
Going to pick up a GiproX gear indicator just for a winter project. Could those who have one/seen one chime in about what color is easiest to see? Thx

Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and White color display options and Id think you would need one person to have tried them all to say which one is "better"
I can tell you I use reading glasses and seeing the small red numbers on my 2001 speedo suck at night.
No issues at all with reading the Red GiproX day or night.
Its not so bright at night to be bothersome either which is sometimes a problem with LED products that are bight enough to be seen in daylight.

Red is typically used when trying to preserve vision in low light/dark conditions. Yellow/green is what the human eye is most sensitive to.
Go with what Eric is using. Known quantity.
I requested some information directly from HealTech Electronics for an up coming project. You may find it useful. Email from HealTech:

Hello David,

Thank you for the information.

We can make the GIpro X with small remote display, cost with harness kit is 117 EUR shipped.
If you wish to proceed, please send this amount by PayPal to:
webshop@healtech-electronics.com

with subject: "GIPRO-X + GPX-H01 with remote display"

You can specify the cord length between the control module and remote display and whether you need normal round cable or flat ribbon
cable between the two.
You may also select the display color.

Kind regards,
/Attila

Thanks for the responses.. This from Healtech in case anyone has a similar question.

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for the email.

This kit will work great with your bike, part no.:
GIPRO-X + GPX-H01

The Red and Green colors are the best in strong daylight. Second choice is Blue, then White. Yellow is not recommended unless the
display will be mounted in a shaded location.

For pricing and ordering information, please contact the distributor in your country:

Kind regards,
/Attila
