fork springs
Hi
I went down on the VTR last saturday and bent the forks. Just painted it the week before, go figure. now I need new tubes and while I'm at it, some new .95-1.0kg springs to replace the mushy stock ones. If anyone knows a place to pick up springs or tubes for *cheap* please please please let me know if not the tubes, i'll just have them repaired
Thanks a lot

If the tubes have any creases in them, they cannot be repaired. If bent, then you should be OK. Also check the triple clamps to make sure they're not twisted too (only can be replaced).
As for a source of cheap parts, head to eBay. You can normally find complete forks for about $100 or so.
