Does anybody have any pro/con information on doing a Ridesmart Track day? It will be at the Texas Motorsport Ranch on a 1.7 mile section. I went around the track in a car years ago. Looks like I'll be in the beginner group since I've never done a track day, so that's decided. I'm reading a "Trackday Directory" magazine that has been extremely informative. Just curious if anybody has done a RIDESMART school and has any feedback. This magazine has a lot of do's and dont's, what to expect, get plenty of sleep, leave your ego at the house etc. etc.

Any Texas guys who can get a day off on a Monday? It will likely be smoking hot in addition to a Monday, so I'm hoping that means more instructor attention...and and fewer squids in the pool.
