Well, its been downright balmy, but today it plummeted into the teens.

Always gets your attention the first time each year you ride that cold.

Tonight riding from Brooklyn to Queens the trusty dash thermometer said 16 lovely degrees. Wind was a wailing 40mph and gusty which was the real nuisance.

Anyway, I really hate the cold, but here it is. Thank God it waited this long around here at least.

Ride safe anyone else (not in the southern hemisphere) who is still riding.
