Finally! The stock rear tire wore out.
Finally! The stock rear tire wore out.
Well, I came out of work Thursday and noticed a streak running down the center of my rear tire. Yep, low and behold the rear had worn out. I felt pretty good about it as the stock tire, at least as far as I was concerned, wasn't up to the level of what the bike sould have on it.
Here's the thing. . .I was up to about 5600 miles, Does anyone else recall how long the original tire lasted them?
I replaced it with a Michelin and the bike feels MUCH more nimble. I decided after riding it about 5 miles that I will be changing the front out in the next couple weeks, as I'm sure that the front will make a difference in the feel too.
