Finally got one!

Hello everyone,

I just picked up a black 1998 SuperHawk. I have wanted one since they first came out and now I finally have my baby! It needs a little cosmetic work, but I have all winter to chip away at it.

Thanks for having me!

That's the bike that got me interested in the SHawk, but took 4 yrs before I could pull the trigger. No regrets, I got the updated version in the faster red color. Congrats though - the black byatch is hot!

i have a black '99. looks much better than my red '98 did. CCT's are changed,
valves checked and am collecting parts for the CBR1000 front end swap!

EXCUSE ME!?!?! Everyone knows that not only is the red one faster it looks much nicer than the black one! What's this winter thing everyone is talking about, sounds like it sucks. Oh yeah and welcome aboard.

You, are both correct.
The red ones are faster, BUT the black ones are fastest.
