finally got one

ABOUT TIME, whew didnt thin was going to happen but it did, finally sold my 07 919 today and bought a 00 hawk has less miles then my bike did and has a fairing, the color not so great but i can work with that, now time to go through it, carbs check the cct and R/R here is what i had this morning

it does have a few nicks here and there and a few cracked bits but not to bad. At least now i wont be worried about tanks bags or tailbags

yes cash in pocket, its a just a temp home though, it has a new home to go to real soon, in the form of tires reg. tax and what ever else i can think of. like shock and forks prop just rebuild the stock forks i dont think i NEED USDs

And nah- a lot of the nicer bikes I've seen run stock forks (re-valved and sprung of course) and a fork brace. I'm sure if you do this you'll be in great standing...

How does it compare to the 919? I really would like a 919 but the superhawk was way cheaper. If you don't mind, how much $$ did the 919 sell for? Tim

the yellow is growing on me BUT it NEEDs alot of black missed in to make it better.
919 sold for $4700, of course that is WAY under what I had into it but such is life.
3k for the hawk which I know is toward the top of what they sell for

i would like to put a gas gauge on it but the 919 did not have one either so its not a big deal.
