Question favourite tire for VTR 1000 ??

Hello,

i´am from germany, i live in Stuttgart.
And i drive a Honda Firestorm (german name for Superhawk), too.

Which is the best tire for this bike?

I drive the Michelin pilot power 2 CT.

I need to change the back tire after 2200 miles
and the front one after 3000 miles.

Thank you.

EngineNoO9 is an unknown quantity at this point
try varying your pressures. Mine lasted 3000 miles easy. If you're commuting a lot run low 40's/high 30's. Granted if you're commuting a lot I'd recommend something like a metzler z6 (I think that's the name). Personally I'll always run a sticky tire like the Pilot powers or the diablo corsa III's

Depends on the type of riding you do, as many will say here.

Aggresive track riding, commuting, aggressive weekend canyon riding.....

I am happy with Dunlop Qualifiers because they are lasting well and have plenty of traction. A nice compromise.

The Qualifers got Motorcyclist Mag. editors' pick for best street tire with track day capabilities.

FWIW... I'm currently running Avon 45/46 sport turing tires. Not a tire I would have picked for the VTR, but they were free. I have been surprized how well they are working (wear and stick). And did I say they were free?
