It is technically 5.8 If memory serves me correct and it is Carbon/Kevlar. It is one of the first tanks made by CarboTech for the VTR. This was one of their delaer's bikes and it made a lot more sense before the RC51 came out. His focus went there and Ducati until he closed his shop. Any help spreading the word is greatly appreciated. I will try to take soem pictures this week. I'm taking a pretty solid beating on this bike, but just don't ride it much anymore and need something more sport touring/standard oriented. Between the smashed knees, bad back and now car-pool-tunnel-syndrome in my wrists, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be riding sportbikes at all.

If you were closer,,, id be coming over to your house to pick up my new VTR.. But, at 1000 plus miles to Scottsdale... I'll be headed to Austin today.... If that deal falls through... I would be interested in your bike.. Willing to ship? 2k round trip is not cheap in my truck. Though the wife and I could drive the mustang.. and I could ride it back :P
Bronco,
Hitch a ride on Greyhound ($140) and ride it back! I've done that before. Plus it would be a great time of year to ride that route (no heat).
Unless you're a regular long distance rider, I'd suggest taking 2 and 1/2 days getting back.

Here is my propoal: my wife works for an airline. I can send you a guest pass for discounted flight here. If you like the bike, ride it home or we can arrange shipping from here (it cost me a little under $500 to ship it from houston to PHX when I bought it). If you don't like it, fly on home. You spent a nice day in AZ and about $100 on airfare (about 50 each way). I'll pickup and dropoff at airport with no hard feelings if deal doesn't work out.
Call me for details if you are interested: Rick 480-695-7185
