The only hint as to your location I can find is the US flag.

I'm in Scottsdale, AZ-a suburb of Phoenix...the perfect place to visit from Canada as winter comes. Daytime high of 85F today.

Suuhh-weeeet!

Is the CF tank one of those 6 gal models? Some more pics please for us to drool over. I'm going to cross post this over on the VFR site as I know there's some possible interest there.

It is technically 5.8 If memory serves me correct and it is Carbon/Kevlar. It is one of the first tanks made by CarboTech for the VTR. This was one of their delaer's bikes and it made a lot more sense before the RC51 came out. His focus went there and Ducati until he closed his shop. Any help spreading the word is greatly appreciated. I will try to take soem pictures this week. I'm taking a pretty solid beating on this bike, but just don't ride it much anymore and need something more sport touring/standard oriented. Between the smashed knees, bad back and now car-pool-tunnel-syndrome in my wrists, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be riding sportbikes at all.

It is still for sale. I may take it to one of the Honda dealers who offered me a good deal to consign it.

Bronco,

Hitch a ride on Greyhound ($140) and ride it back! I've done that before. Plus it would be a great time of year to ride that route (no heat).

Unless you're a regular long distance rider, I'd suggest taking 2 and 1/2 days getting back.

Here is my propoal: my wife works for an airline. I can send you a guest pass for discounted flight here. If you like the bike, ride it home or we can arrange shipping from here (it cost me a little under $500 to ship it from houston to PHX when I bought it). If you don't like it, fly on home. You spent a nice day in AZ and about $100 on airfare (about 50 each way). I'll pickup and dropoff at airport with no hard feelings if deal doesn't work out.

Call me for details if you are interested: Rick 480-695-7185
