"too scared that something might happen to you"? no amount of scared girlfriends or newborns will ever keep me off the bike. what the hells the point if you can't ride? I'd be looking for creative ways to kill myself thru risk. if you can't ride, then life is over anyway. that was a condition early on in my wife's and my relationship. no matter what happens, don't ever ask me to stop riding. cause between her and the bike, I WILL choose the bike. not because I value it more than her. but because she would have made me make the choice. can't have that. if I get 3 limbs chopped off, I'm still gonna ride. if I am a single father of a dozen kids, I'm still gonna ride, and possibly orphan them all. and? life is tough. some things we should never have to sacrifice. especially not for a GF with slightly elevated blood pressure and a genetically linked hairless infant primate. ok rant over. I don't mean to be critical. its your life, and I'm not trying to call you soft core or anything. my comments were the first thoughts that came to me when I tried to put myself in your shoes. its your life, and I assume you know how to live it better than me. I just find the idea of quitting for any reason short of at least one death unacceptable, to me. sorry about your decision. I hope it works for you.
I agree, I would not, and have not stayed with any woman that had an issue with motorcylces. I have found may that do not; I have two sons and my grislfriend of 10+ years has no problem with me riding off for an hour or two weeks. I am not saying this works for all but if you love bikes like I do there is no point in hooking up with someone who has 'issues'. Better to live one day as a lion than a life time as a mouse.

Awesome!

I'd put milk in there. Actually a lightweight oil would work better, it'd smear when they hit their windshield wipers.

If it squirted oil into the mufflers though... that'd smoke em out.
