it is true that you have to start somewhere, but i would be as stupid as to start with a new damn bike. i would buy an old 600 or something and start out with that so i would have to care as much about wrecking it.

You would think (I would anyways) that if you are going to do some of those stunts you should at least wear decent protection when trying them... A bandana is not a good substitution for a helmet imho.
