Just wanted to share.
I had the opportunity this weekend to go to Ducati Red event where the CEO of Ducati North America unveiled the all new and currently the only one in the US, the V4R with 234 hp, crazy machine, oh yea, and they brought back the dry clutch, IMO more as a gimmick. He actually started the bike and it sound crazy, kinda like VFR on allot of steroids :-)

You had to register ahead of time, they had all the new models as well with this unique bike and it was in a car museum with privet collections, so there was plenty to see.

 

Here is just a sample, I didn't take many pictures, as I was there many times already.

 

is that tape on the exhaust?

 

You mean on the bike?

 

yes on the bike but specifically under the foot peg. it looks like there is a diff color and it covers three slots cut into the metal

 

I think it's from the angle of the shot, it is part of the exhaust heat shield.
