I love this bike, and I would love to have one, but I absolutely hate the riding position. It puts way too much of my upper body weight on my arms and hands. Is there a different set of handlebars available for this bike that are both higher and back further?
As was said there are lots of options. Really only limited by your creativity & expertise (or access to someone who can also find the correct parts and do it for you). Mild raise from a pair of Helibars. As far as I know, like a lot of things for our bikes, they're no longer available new. I actually have a pair I was going to put up for sale shortly but get the feeling you're after a bit more. I tried dirtbike bars (you can drill the stock upper triple or get a completely new one) for $hits and giggles on a project once and they were an absolute riot. Fairing clearance issues may follow (and please don't hack up nice stock original fairings lol they're getting impossible to find). Convertibars are really nice and give tons of adjustment in every direction to suit personal tastes. New they are expensive though... You can probably get away with the lines you have now with the Helibars. Anything more will require custom lines, which thankfully aren't really much more than stock length lines. Just measure 5 times. You can also specify what angle you'd like the banjo at for a perfect fit.

I could drill the stock tree. The toughest part would be finding risers that'll work, along with a handlebar that wouldn't require modding the fairing or windshield...
Yeah, that's what I'm lookin for. Any idea what hardware and bar these are? Do you know if longer cables, brake lines, etc. had to be installed?
That was just a random Google search. I've never entertained the idea so I'm not sure what parts were used. Budget new front brake and clutch lines for sure.
As said, please don't hack up good condition plastics.

When you say yoke, I assume you're talking about the triple tree? I've never heard it called a yoke before...

When I did my RC51 fork swap back in the day I used Convertibars. They are still made, though not the exact versions I bought. Again they allowed tons of adjustment in every direction and allowed me to clear the stock fairings. Now bear in mind I was using them to fit the RC51 forks into the stock fairings and make everything look factory, not to raise the bars for comfort and still expect them to clear. I only mounted dirtbike bars for a short time on a project bike and still hadn't remounted the fairings so someone else will need to chime in there who's done that. Regarding brake lines you just need to contact any of the major brake line manufacturers. You can probably even order them directly off a website like did. You measure and give them the lengths you want and choose different options like banjo angles, etc. It's been so long I can't remember if mine were from Speigler or Galfer. Just google "custom length braided motorcycle brake lines" and you'll have plenty of choices there. Spiegler, Core, Galfer and HEL immediately come up.

I used Bikemaster Superbike bend handlebars and I think I cut off about an inch and a half off each end to end up with a total bar width of about 27". I have a 954 front end, but I think they would work with the stock fork and triple. I made some risers out of billet. Been more than 15 years. Stock cables and hoses and no fairing cutting. Turning radius sucks.
They're still too low, but better than stock.
Asking you to use the search function isn't blowing you off. I've personally been on here for 17 years so there's at least that long worth of knowledge already packed into this forum from people much smarter than myself. Searching a bit is going to not only get you the information MUCH faster, but you're likely to also get MUCH more info and answers than you're going to get from asking a single question in 2022 to a forum where probably at least half the active members have long moved on to newer bikes. Kind of off topic but related question. Have you ever sat on a 1st gen FZ1? V-twin "personality" aside (and the fact that it's a bit bigger and sits pretty high) it's pretty much a better bike in every respect. Better brakes, way more power and probably the exact seating position you're looking for. And they sell used for around the same price. I have a soft spot for Superhawks (and at least one has always remained in my garage) and have owned many bikes over the years including a modded ZX12 and modded Hayabusa but my '01 FZ1 was the best all around motorcycle I personally have ever ridden. Just another option...

Although the Superhawk has a 954 front end and the brakes are better than the FZ1, everything else tips in favor of the FZ. Handling, power, comfort, gas mileage are all better on the FZ.
The Honda gets ridden only a fraction of the time that the Yamaha does these days, and I do still love the Superhawk.

For the bars,if you didn't already notice, the photo of the yellow SH has had the fairings and wind screen cut. To get any where close to an upright/sit up and beg riding position the fairings will get in the way.
Another option would be Bars from a 90'-'05 VFR. No cutting of the fairings. It's an improvement, but it's still a somewhat aggressive riding position. All this old stuff is getting harder to find.

Can I ask you how much time you've spent with the search function? Can't just expect everyone to do all the hard work for you...
I have spent a lot of time using search, but what I come up with is pretty much like what's been posted here. Holy Molly!!! I think I paid under $100 many moons ago for the Tommasellis, which I kept when installed the Dan-Moto 3D adjustable clip-ons that are wonderful except you should replace the SHCS and Nylock nuts with SS quality items. However the 3D are not currently made but maybe a dozen years ago I also got them for about $100!
If you dont like the motocross bar look or feel you can also use VFR800 bars. I have a set laying around somewhere. Also a brand named apex makes some insanely nice bars called apex riser bars. They are infinitely adjustable in different riser heights.

My SH came with VFR bars on it. The reservoirs whack the fairing and the switch packs can contact the tank at full lock. I replaced them with stock bars to clear the fairing again. I did not want to trim the fairing even though the VFR bars were considerably more comfortable.
Seems odd stuff was hitting both the fairing and the tank. How hard were the reservoirs hitting the fairing? I believe people have put washers or other spacers between the fairing and the frame to add clearance and avoid trimming. Maybe that would make it work?
