A friend of mine is interested in this Hawk, Does anyone know this bike?
Price is at a premium level, but it looks very clean and is low mileage.
Superhawk 996 *3,000 Miles*

That low mileage and the modlist I'd pay 3500... I'd tell your buddy to start negotiating and find out if he has all of the stock parts as well because if he does he could sell off some things and be in the low to mid 3000's off of the deal
I paid $4700 for my 4700 mile old 1998 Superhawk in 2002. While we're 10 years on, this bike is no less new. Deals like the ones mentioned above are spectacular, I don't think this is too much if it's the bike you want. It's a VERY fresh superhawk with some $1000 in nice add on's. That others have gotten really great deals on their bikes does not make this a bad one imo.

All valid points. It would be a much sweeter deal at about the $3000-3500 range, but with almost 1k in extras..? As posted, if you like the deal then it's all good.
My buddy is trying to sell a very clean low mile '06 Concours to justify buying the SH. I advised him to make the guy an offer now and not wait to sell the Connie because clean and low mile Hawks are getting rare.
BTW is that an MV Agusta Brutale in the photos?

The pricing and description basically says: This bike is in the same condition as if it were being sold Used : Pristine Condition from a dealer with all checks / mechanical work done and the paint in very good condition.
However, you run the risk because this is a stranger.
I Payed $2500 for a bike with 24k miles and a cracked right front fairing. I would easily have payed $4250 for not having to do additional work and having more peace of mind with only 3k on the odometer.
Take $4000 cash and have the $250 just in case you really want it bad.

I'll take a different angle in responding. The seller is looking to "deal", so I think is ready to bargain. If your friend's dream was to get a superhawk and if your friend was going to do the modifications that are already on this particular bike, than the asking price is actually not unreasonable. The bike looks clean and has very tasteful modifications. I would bargain and try to buy it for $3500.
