Cheap Corbin Seat
#3
The main issue I have with the Corbin seats is you can't move around on the bike.
So if you have a "sit in one place" riding style it can work well for you.
If you like to move around and hang off the bike, well you might not like the way the seat is set up.

Thanks for the input guys. Really want a sargent, but don't like the price. Think I'm gonna grab it. If I don't like it I'll get it rebuilt and recovered. There is a shop here that does some excellent work and at a reasonable price.

That's an awesome price if it's in good condition. Buy it quick and make up your mind later. You could even get your money back plus some if you decide you don't like it.

Totally 100% disagree. I can move all over the place on my Corbin. In fact I'm a little perplexed about the statement. My stock seat [cover] kept me put. When I got the Corbin, I was amazed at how much more it had me moving all around. Now I tend to lean off a little, reducing lean angle.

That’s a great price.. There is one on Craig’s list for 350 with a backrest... but it's solid black. .. so I passed.
I wonder if the slip / stick difference is due to the type of leather used for the seat and side panels. Corbin offers plan smooth, or various textured leathers products.
