changed cct and now have service light

I changed out my cct for a ape style. Now my service light is on.bike seems to have a slight stumble at idle but runs out fine. I changed out my spark plugs for Iridium style. I can t think that would make any difference. I was pretty sure I hooked up all my vent lines correct. I also noticed I had a little oil type residue in my air box. And my air filter was way old looking. Can the manual cct be too tight?
Any thoughts before I inspect?
