Cbr1000rr swingarm

I know that a few people have swapped out rear swing arms with an RC has any body tried doing it with a cbr1000rr? I'll be redoing the front swap with a cbr1000rr so I would like the wheels to match.

I looked into them a few years ago so my memory is foggy on this but I thought the 600rr was a better choice. Why? I don't remember. It may have been nothing more than they were cheaper on ebay, dunno'....

Any thoughts on what you'd do about the rear header?

Are rc51 and cbr front wheels interchangeable? Because if so I did an rc51 front swap and used an sp1 6 spoke front wheel, and a 900rr 6 spoke rear wheel on the superhawk swingarm and they match perfect.

The CBR wheels need to have the RC bearings, spacer and dust seals put in them so that the axle will work if using an RC front end due to the axle diameter.

The 954 swingarm that I'll be putting on my VTR this winter looks like a very easy swap. The geometry in the pivot area is almost identical to the VTR's. Collars, bearings, etc I don't have figured out yet but the quick measurements I've done so far show it to be a fairly straightforward swap.

SlowHAWK is an unknown quantity at this point
Jamie...

Does it look like you'll have to move the shock placement (left or right)... and therefore the exhaust? Or does the shock mounting look to be in the same place? Also what is the length on the 954 unit (pivot to wheel axle)?
