Can you name this Engine?

Ok, here is your brain teaser for the day..just be looking at this, can you name the engine (and version of it, if you're really good...)?

Correct! It is the VFR800 motor. Evidently somebody ate their mental wheaties this morning!

I own a '85 VF1000R.....V4 and gear driven cams.....It's a rear tire eater!! Only complaint.....it's heavy as hell!!

the purpose build asfault eater is what the vfr800 is no matter what year. I just cannot wait to find an exhaust that i like for mine.

No VTEC on this thing, I see regular cam sprockets.

Edit I checked and it seems that they act on the lifter instead of the cam gear for this thing, interesting
