Bleeding Clutch last night with turkey injector
For some reason SHforum was down last night.. so i couldnt get any help from you guys
Well i tried to bleed my clutch last night and little did i know to do it properly you really need the vacuum and the line needs a little bit of pressure in it afterwards to work properly.
I just want everyone to know you can save 60 bucks by using the turkey flavor injector syringe and some old fish tank hose.. works great
After cussing for about 3 hours and wondering how i was going to fix this , keeping in mind i wouldnt be able to ride it to the mechanic or my buddies house, i was able to get easy this easy fix from from the kitchen in the form of a unused flavor injector..

I use a 60ml syringe to pull out almost all of the old fluid out of the reservoir before bleeding the system. It saves time flushing out the old fluid. Then I bleed the system.

A 18 inch piece of plastic tubing, a open end wrench and a plastic container are all that I use.
I have used a mitivac before, and for $50 it an't worth it.

Bleeding clutch
I just flushed/bleed my clutch system and left the overrated Miti Vac on the shelf. Easy and simple to do using the old tried and true method.

I just did mine and the clutch a little while ago borrowing a friends mighty vac (sp?). That thing is GREAT. Well, minus using it for the clutch as it sucked it all thru in one pump. Took forever to get the air out of the line.
