bars and risers

I was looking at some searches yesterday on just the same thing. I don't have the posts that I was looking at, but do a search on "superbike" and you should find some. There was one in particular that had some pictures and specific bars and risers they had set up.
In short, you can find risers, drill holes on the top triple clamp to mount them, get an aftermarket set of bars, and should be able to mount without changing wires or hoses. you may have to un-clamp throttle cables for it to work. you also have to trim the plastic for clearance.

Do these make the $300 price tag worth it? I've read some of the superbike bar conversion threads and I'd like to be able to return the bike to stock if needed for resale.

Sorry, posted in here before I saw the "Heli vs. Apex" thread! The adjustability of the Apex bars intrigues me but not sure if the stock bars have locating holes in them for the various instruments on the bars. The $80-$100 difference is pretty compelling to go with the Apex bars though.
