umm, not really an option... unless your buying something off the wall.

Where are you finding different length grips? And what brand?

umm, ok.... been buying grips for about 30 years now,, and never saw, asked for, was offered or bought a Specific length grip.
I have used heated grips on a few bikes,,,but never some with built in end caps..

Guess you learn somethng new every day. Are these different length grips a cruiser bke deal? Perhaps thats why

So, what brand? and where are you getting these "specific lengths" grips?

Thanks..Oh,, and I have two or three sets of grips for the SH in my shop.. I'd be happy to measure them (all the same length) when I get home and post up what I find.

just for example
HotGrips ask for specified length in grip, for the best fit (I assume?)

Well see there ya go

I guess I just never noticed because I've never bought such a thing. OK,, So how about this, other then HOT grips or some other obscure manufacture.. Grips are a one size fit all. If you still need a length, I’m happy to measure a set... as soon as I get home tonight.

It makes sense,, I just never seen different lengths offered….. I’ve bought hundreds of sets for Sport Bikes, Dirt bikes, and even my wife’s Metric cruiser…, and just never noticed. Thanks.

OEM grips for a 1998 VTR1000F 4.75", four sets of after market grips from three different manufactures, 4.75". Hope that helps.
