Back in the fold. Finally found the perfect 05
Ok so after selling my 05 about three years ago. Posting this two years ago https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...perhawk-18656/
Today I finally got me the perfect 05 Superhawk.
Brought from a forum member by the name of Didier, I don't think he posts much. Early this morning caught a flight up to San Francisco from Los Angeles. Met Didier at the airport, short ride back to his house and there she was, the perfect 05 Titianium grey Superhawk. Left San Francisco at around 10:30AM 366 miles later arrived home at 4:20PM. Bike ran great, sargent seats are the bomb.
Post some pictures up tomorrow. Super happy right now. Didier was such a great guy to deal with the perfect French gentleman.
Guess I'm going to be asking lots of stupid questions for a while now, or I could just use the search function! but where's the fun in that huh?

Next! Ride the thing. Yep got lucky with all the suspension mods. All I had to do was install some frame sliders, upgrade the brakes and play with the carbs a little.
In the future I may change the gearing to 16/43 but really in no hurry to do that. Install some sticky tires once these wear out.
Hit the track. Got a trip booked for Laguna Seca for Moto GP.

Questions can be entertaining, redundant, or even informative in ways not intended or they can be leading. Never stupid. 'Stupid' is reserved for some answers, never the questions.
Welcome back.
