I finally found the "new thread" button
Hi, I've been poaching the SH Forum for over 2 1/2 years and decided after receiving much good info that I should join.
I've been riding since the mid '60s, but didn't own a bike until 1981. I've had 4 bikes since and logged over 160,000 miles.
I bought my '05 Superhawk new in August '05. I've got 18,567 miles on it. My wife rides also, she is on her second bike, an '07 SV650S.
Glad to finally be a member of the SH Forum.

Hey, I was born in 1946. I was 5 years old when my folks bought their first TV. I admit to being computer challenged.

It took me a week to find the "new thread" button, so posting pics may take a while.
My SH is '05 Titanium (gray) stock except Sargent seat and rear fender chopped to height of license plate with ugly plate light removed.
I have thought of slip-ons, but the stock cans have gotten louder with mileage and it runs flawlessly. I moves my 150 pounds plenty quick too.
I put a Yosh slip-on on my wife's SV and it runs great without remapping.

WHAT??????????????????
I just spent the last hour in the garage searching my bike over and over looking for this damn button... I even checked my owners manual, and there is NO reference to a "new thread" button...
I even checked if you misspelled and meant "new tread", and still, no button's....
please post pictures

Well, my Dunlop Qualifiers don't have "new tread", especially on the front since I'm on my second rear Qualifier.
Oh wait, I get it...making fun of the old guy who can barely turn on his laptop.
Oops, no pun intended.

Some reservations though:
What and who else have you been poaching and for how long?
Whose bikes were you riding for 21 years and what type of person would want to use others' **** for that long before deciding to buy his own?
How many other "buttons" have you not been able to locate for extended periods? er maybe this question should be addressed to your better half?
Given your logged mileage of 160,000 miles, it appears that your average year riding has diminished somewhat since buying the SH? maybe too much poaching?
No incriminations understand, just reservations, but since we don't have a vote, it really doesn't matter huh. haha. So as I said, welcome to the forum!
