So I have to register my SH and the reg says that I need a smog check on my bike. Anybody out there know about this??

 

Yep, just bring it in to one of the DMV places that have MC testing. It is only an idle test (they don't run the bike over idle). I have never had a problem passing, just make sure the bike is fully warmed up before bringing it in.

 

No ****? And I thought Cali was nuts. No smog checks on bikes here.

 

Smog check for motorcycles is only required in Maricopa County... Thank God!
I thought I had heard that Maricopa County was doing away with it...?

 

Don't hold your breath Coaster. The BAR has been working on it for years. They just haven't figured out the procedure and how to implement it yet. Same with diesels, they can put out tons of NOX.

That's why my EVAP canister and hardware is stored in my garage.
