Anyone have a spent OEM (or clone) air filter?
Hi,
I have an idea for (another) airbox experiment and would need a Honda (or HiFlo, or EMGO) air filter to use. As I will be cutting it up, the condition of the filter material is totally irrelevant. I could buy a cheap one off eBay but, why buy a new one when an old one will do. Suffice to say I will pay for shipping to get it here.
Thanks in advance.

Hi gents and thanks for the replies
I am not in a big panic to get the filter so USPS First Class would be good enough for shipping (not to mention more reasonably priced too). AS Wolverine replied first, I guess I`ll give him "first dib" on gifting his old filter, lol
thanks again gents.
To shed light o the why, I read in a few places that the proximity of the bellmouths to other objwects (in this case the filter) has a significant impact on airflow and, it fiollows, power. So, I want to try cutting out the filter element on an OEM filter and glue3fasten teh filter element from a BMC street filter on top of the plastic "walls" surrounding the element on the OEM filter. THis would effectively increase the distance between the filter and the bellmouth, a change which should, in theory, improve airflow...... BTW, I just ordered a new BMC street filter which I will be cutting up.... science is not cheap, lol
Don`t blame me, it's my OCMD........
