OEM Air Filter Element replacment

I'm switching back from the K&N to the stock element and was wondering if anyone ordered their filter from RonAyers.com or ServiceHonda.com? I looked on the sites but they list 3 different numbers.

Any suggestions?

Re: OEM Air Filter Element replacment

I just got one last weekend from BikeBandit.com. Honda part number is 17210-MBT-D10 and BikeBandit part number is 229397-001. I think it was a few bucks more than RonAyers.com but shipping was cheaper.

Just an update. I got one from a local Honda dealer (DFW Honda in Grapevine, Tx) for about $35.

Thanks for the one reply.

I was going to skip right past my local Honda dealer assuming online would be cheaper. But the lowest cost I see online for the OEM air filter element is $38.51 so this is useful info. Thanks.

duh.. no. But now that you point that out - it's pretty funny.

Aloha,
I find that I am looking at "old threads" a lot. Thats why the the veteran/senior members always reply "do a search". I have been a member for awhile, not much posting though. I have learned very much. If I come up with a problem, I do a search.
I find this forum extremely valuable(and fun). Thanks to all.

Just to note, the BMC "street" has been reported on with generally favorable results. I am running one and it works well for me while the K&N that I tried stumbled a bit at low rpm.
I mention this because it is nice to be able to clean and reuse the filter.
