The cops are getting smart
they are surfing the forum to see what the front end the the Superhawks look like, they all remember the glimpse of them before we notice them behind us. Check this out cop-per

He's originally from Pittsburgh, which is a plus.
When I was growing up most of my uncles, especially the Irish ones, were cops.
I've got friends on LAPD and LASD. I'll tell you this;
The cops I've had as uncles and the cops I have as riding, shooting and drinking buddies are more fun to be with than the ones who pull me over for speeding. That is all.

Cop
Im a Pittsburgh motor cop who rides a mint 98 Superhawk off duty. Sold my 2004 Concours because it was too heavy and slow and got the hawk right before I went to Iraq last September. So far the bike is awsome cept for the R/R I replaced. I got a brand new set of D&D pipes waiting to be installed when I get home in 2 months.

Out here on the prairie the cops are reasonable,professional people.Never had a ticket that I didn't deserve,but in my role as one of our nations long haul truckers I think law enforcement are my BEST friends.
I average 120k miles a year and over the last 25+ years have encountered just about every situation you can imagine. Every time something happens the cops are the first people we call to resolve the situation. They do a difficult job, so next time a cop helps you out remember to thank them.....

I'm in the middle of police academy for the state of Texas as we speak. Does that count? I can't be all bad. If you look at my pictures, you'll see me talking about breaking a chain at a little over 120..... Guess I'd better not pull anyone over for speeding :-)

Sorry. I lurk.
Yeah, I work dope around Atlanta here and there. I sold the VTR and got a Speed Triple... and promptly had a "friend" wreck it. I am trying like a **** to get back to PA, but PSP has an "indefinite hiring freeze due to budget crisis", so I am going through my process with the feds now. That was my second choice... but we can't all have life work out perfectly, because then what could we bitch about?
Dude, you are lucky to work for Pitt PD. I tried to get on with them but you have to be a resident of the city (?), and they NEVER hire. Thinking about going to law school or grad school in the city so I can get back home. Yinz be careful!
