I have an 05, I installed an eastern beaver headlight relay kit. Now the battery goes dead when not used. I will track it down. I mention this in case your PO installed one.

 

No problem. NADA list this bike @ $3600+ (include the mileage and....)
Everyone says there are great deals, but nowhere to be found.

Well, I bought a Regulator from Ebay (Yamaha R1, 98 to 02 I think...) and I'm in need of a battery. So now I need to research the existing threads for other mods I "need" to do. I just want to get the electrical bugs out and ride some, find out what this bike is all about. Again and again, thanks to all that have replied to this thread!!!

 

I keep a battery tender on mine all the time. It seems the little digital clock and odometer holding circuit can do a number on your battery in about a week. Since I have done that this battery has lasted four years. '02 Hawk newer style R/R, good grounds.
