New Jardines on but have ?

I had time tonight to put the system on (Round black race core high mounts).....but not real happy with the rear peg set-up. The pegs touch the exhaust at the rubber gromet (where it held the stock exhaust by peg bracket. Looks like I need longer bolts and some spacers. Has anyone who has this exhaust had this problem?

For now I just left the rear pegs off and used the stock bolts that held the peg bracket to the sub-frame. Other than that they are awesome and very loud!

My experience exactly with the Jardine set that I installed over the winter. I even scratched one of mine on the peg pretty bad trying to get it in there without realizing that rubber gromet had a metal backing plate on it. I was pissed so I just removed the pegs. I got the street baffles in polished aluminum and the cans are real nice. The mids were pretty weak. Mine are loud enough for my tastes and they get louder as they settle in. BTW if you look at the back of the casting of the peg bracket you can see how the extension for the stock exhaust could be cut off. I think I'm going to try to mod mine just in case I get an offer I can't refuse

I had the same though of cutting that part of the peg bracket off too! I think I will look for a set of peg brackets on ebay and have it ready for stock set up if I sold it later. As far as sound they are very loud and I have not had it on the road yet, but very anxious.

I don't expect that will be tonight will it? It's 28F here so I guess it's about 10 up there!
