2015 Mileage - Where R U Going this Season?

1st - U Southern folks that ride year round - God Bless, but us Northern's still dealing with snow & cold weather aren't that lucky, except for SmokinJoe73 who rides with spiked tires.

Lets do a starting mileage list for this year. State Year of the VTR & odo.

I want to ride more this year - I want to take my son to Barber for races, I'm hoping he graduates HS & he turns 18 in July. (No not riding 2 up - he'll borrow my buddies V-Strom)

And I want to ride up to ADacks (NY State) for Americade and ride around Whiteface Mtn again - the smell of the pine trees while riding is awesome.

Maybe even do F1 in Montreal again. And get back to WVa / Va again. Awesome roads!

Plus commuting

So here we go

2002 RED Hawk - 52,420 as of this post.

Be Safe Class - And Watch Out for Those Potholes!! Massive this season!

nice thread!

i rolled over 35000 on my 98 a couple days ago.

i just moved from MN to kansas and i hope to ride a ton as well, two tracks close by should make for an exciting summer!

i want to drive to colorado and see the mountains

im contemplating going back to AZ for bike week but this time riding not flying

take the long boring drive up to minneapolis to see my folks

ride out to green bay to see my grandparents and aunt

thats a pretty steep list i think especially with my time off but i sure hope i can get over my 2000 mile summer last year.

Be sure to let me know if you come up this way. Perhaps Mikstr and I can meet up. That's, if you wish obviously...

Damn ! I screwed up the quote.

Perhaps a bit too ambitious for me, but really want to do a ride from home here in southern AZ to Seattle to visit my daughter. Lots of really fine roads to be sampled in between.

'00 @ 29,550. I'm hoping to meet up with some of you locals for a mini gtg. Pa rt125 is know as the dragon of Pa. I think it'd be a great ride! We've got some excellent roads around here, although right now they are littered with pot holes.

Yes lets set that up - I've ridden 125 about 6 times since I've lived out here, great road.

We can meet either at Cabelas in Hamburg or in Pine Grove. Meet between 10 & 11 on a Saturday or Sunday morning, would be perfect. Maybe end of April or beginning of May - give PennDot some time to fix potholes....

Let me know what works

98 with just about 60K on the clock. However, I have to mix up the riding with 2 other bikes. As long as I am riding, I don't care where I go, as long as it isn't to the city. Season is only so long so as many miles as I can possibly do.

RoadManiac this is my first trip ever like this I just hope I make the whole trip! My back up plan is to ditch the extra baggage in Portland (aka the wife sorry honey) and put her on a plane and I will finish the trip back home.

I've put 2,000 miles on the Hawk already since April. As of now it has 18,000 miles on it. My hope is to get to 30,000 on it before the snow flies.

I've already gotten 2,000 miles in this season and worn out a back tire.

Ride in the NC mountains almost every weekend on fantastic roads - diamondback, devils whip, blue ridge parkway, etc.

1998 with 12,800 miles and rising.

Bored at work - bring this back up

a little over 2k miles so far, this season.

My son didn't graduate on time, so no trip for him to Barber.

I started a new job last month, so I'll be commuting some days.

Plus Summer riding isn't my favorite when its blazing out.

Anyway - stay safe guys

About 14,200 miles now. Multiple Diamondback Loop trips in NC (181, 226a, 80) a couple Snake trips in NC/TN (421) and one trip to the Back of the Dragon (16) and 58 in VA.

Doing a Snake/Back of the Dragon ride this Sunday from Boone NC and planning three days in Robbinsville Area (Tail of the Dragon/Cherohala Skyway) for the last weekend in September.

Will be time for my first valve adjustment this fall.

Nice - I know some of that area - I rode the Dragon about 12 years ago, and was in Boone - Oh boy I'm dating myself, 1986 - Yikes, with a NC chick who went to App State - She was a squirter, Huh Shhh. Was a fun time & beautiful area.

I plan to relo to Western NC in about 15 yrs. And yes I will still have the VTR!

2004 model year, started out with 13,354 on the odo and had to put it up for the season about a week ago with 15,892. All Washington mileage. will be moving to Central California in October so I hope to be racking up some miles in the near future.
Great thread idea by the way!
